This is an incredible survivor car. The paint is very Nice factory code R-R Solar Red The paint has miles of eye appeal! It has been buffed and polished and has a very nice High quality finish. Original dual scoop GTO Hood, It is straight and aligns properly. The Original front bumper fits great and looks great! This is an all original body with very nice Body, floors and trunk all in very good condition. all stainless is original, nice weatherstrip, The car has a small patch panel down low in the rear quarter area. 14x8 Rally II wheels, chrome lug nuts, original PMD center caps and trim rings. Nice RWL BF Goodrich Tires roll this beautiful muscle car smoothly down the road. Trunk pan is in Great shape and is detailed w/Black and aqua spatter paint. The doors, hood and trunk open and close easily. All doors, hood and trunk align properly.
Nice Original white bucket seat interior. These are the original front & rear bucket seat covers and they look good with a small amount of wear, original door & rear panels, 4 speed floor shifter. Original 80/20 loop carpet. 3 spoke steering wheel. Original dash pad is in great condition, Factory speedo shows 86,643 actual miles.
The Factory original Number matching 400/335HP Motor runs excellent. It has good power and holds good oil pressure. It has chrome valve covers and breather with very nice detail under the hood. 4 speed manual transmission shifts smooth and typical runs down the road with a good grip, This car runs, drives, stops & looks Great!!!
It is not detailed underneath. It is original and 100% virgin metal floor pans. This car is true GEM!!
The car was bought new in 1968 by farmers in Indiana, driven on pretty weekends and special occasions until 1989 when it was parked by the original owner in dry storage in the family home garage. The 2nd owner bought the car in 2011 and restored what needed to be restored. the car is solid with all original very nice chrome, 100% original interior, original body and drivetrain. The vin is clearly stamped right on the Original 400/335hp engine and M21 Muncie 4 speed transmission. This is a 2 owner 86,000 actual miles SURVIVOR .
